These Copycat Soft Batch Chocolate Chip Cookies are just like the ones you love from the store, but even better when made at home. They have a soft and chewy texture with a perfect balance of chocolate chips in every bite. These cookies are guaranteed to be a hit with family and friends!

Ingredients: 2 cups all-purpose flour. ½ teaspoon baking soda. ½ teaspoon salt. ¾ cup unsalted butter, melted and slightly cooled. 1 cup packed light brown sugar. ½ cup granulated sugar. 1 tablespoon vanilla extract. 1 egg. 1 egg yolk. 2 cups chocolate chips semi-sweet or milk chocolate.

Instructions: Preheat your oven to 325F 160C. Line baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone baking mats. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. In a large bowl, mix the melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until well combined. Add the vanilla extract, egg, and egg yolk to the butter-sugar mixture. Stir until smooth. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined. Fold in the chocolate chips, evenly distributing them throughout the cookie dough. Using a cookie scoop or spoon, drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, leaving space between each cookie. Bake for about 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden but the centers are still soft. Remove from the oven and allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring them to wire racks to cool completely. Enjoy these delicious Copycat Soft Batch Chocolate Chip Cookies!
